On any site I have seen this, there is always an option not to install it.

I am still using the free Adobe Reader 7.09 but feel that I ought to upgrade
to 8.
When I went to the download site I got the impression that the installer
also
installs the Google Tool Bar. I don't want the Tool Bar on my system but
wonder how difficult it is to get rid of once installed.
Also I am unclear as to whether I should uninstall Adobe 7.09 before
installing 8.
Advice from anyone who has done the upgrade would be much
appreciated.
