Hi MarkI take your point but if you could carry on listening on mains charging why couldn't you on PC charging?

Christine, I will give you an example of why I would want to listen to the stone when it is being charged.Yesterday I was listening to the Monty Python film The Life Of Brian which I have on it. The battery ran out at about a third of the way into the filmand I wanted to carry on listening to it. A mains charger would mean I could have plugged in and carried on with the film from where it left off and the player would be charging at the same time. As it was I had to connect the stone to the PC to charge and had to find something else to do for an hour or more until I could use it. Once its charged it lasts for ten hours too, one heck of a long time.. You canot listen when itis charging on the USB port of the PC, but I wondered if you could on themains adaptor as it is not connected to a processor in that case? Cheers.
