[access-uk] Re: Worldwide Internet Radio

Perhaps in the future, when television listings are
readable by the blind, and of course, when the television service providers
carry worldwide radio on a scale as is seen on some internet sites, then
perhaps you won't need a computer to listen to soapy jazz From Orange
County California.

Hate to say it, but I think you'll be waiting a long time for that, if it ever happens at all. There is a lot of space on TV platforms, but they will insist on filling it all with TV! Also there would be a lot of rights issues to get round, which don't matter when radio stations stream their own output. I think it's more likely that stand-alone internet/wifi radios will become more popular, flexible and usable, thus eliminating the need to be near a computer all the time.
