Thanks Jackie, ctrl+f6 works.
Off to try George's suggestion now.
Have brailled the document to give me a head waiting for a reply, not as fast as switching between the 2 documents but translation halfway done. Thanks a lot, I knew I could rely on you guys, even on a pre-Christmas Sunday.
Lovely! What would I do without you all when in a fix...
All the best to all.
Marie

Hi Marie

Not sure what's happened, but try doing control plus F6 to jump between
them as opposed to alt tab.

side

I used to be able to do this regularly using alt+tab to go from one
document to the other, extremely handy for translation purposes. Now,
when I open one document, the other disappears and I can't remember
altering anything in the settings in Word.
Can someone help please? Have an urgent translation to do.
Thanks in advance to anyone taking the time to answer.

Cheers now,

Marie
