Hi,
I went to Protect Document, and then pressed Enter on "Restrict Permission".
This makes something come up where JAWS just says "Microsoft Office. Yes
button" and I can't fathom out what this message is with the JAWS cursor.
Any ideas?

therine, i have just had a look at word 2003. the part that you want is:
press alt plus t then arrow down to protect document and follow the
promps.
