DJ - Sorted now, thanks your suggestion of trying with no security got me
moving forwards.

What I do have on the laptop is a list box of several security types,
including WPA, but also WPA2 and other WPA options. It was WPA2 that I
needed, just using WPA didn't match up to the network, which also has
several security options, all a bit different than those listed on the
laptop apart from wep! -

| Andy,
|
| Are you using WEP?
|
| Try WPA and see if it allows it.
|
| Also what is the make and model of your wireless card?
|
| Does this card support the encryption methods your trying?
|
| Can you connect to the network OK when it's unencrypted?
