[access-uk] Re: Windows updates

Its often best to restart after each update requires it, as several =
system
changes could be made at the same time that cause conflict, thus giving =
the
potential for some rather unpleasant predicaments.

If, for some reason you did mistakenly install IE 7, you could easily =
revert
back to 6 by removing it through Add/Remove. HTH.

Thanks guys, what a pain! So, do I go to Windows update, and get it to
search my computer? Also, I don't want to install IE7, but hopefully =
I'll be
able to uncheck that one ahead of downloading all the updates? Wondering =
why
it would take several restarts, isn't it more a case of downloading all =
the
updates, then doing one restart?

Thanks - Andy

Probably. I had to. I set it up to download and install over night.

Some mistakes are too much fun to only make once.
