Hi, Following on from posts re converting text to mp3 using Kurzweil 1000 I thought I'd have a go at this myself as it's not something I've explored much. So I loaded a file into Kurzweil, went to the utilities, convert to audio option but I got an error message saying something along the lines of I may not have the appropriate MS compression file but I could get it via Windows media player (which I already have installed). it told me I could get it from the MS website but it didn't give any further details. Anyone know exactly what I'm looking for and where to get it? Using k1000 v10. Your help gratefully appreciated, Cheers, Phil -----Original Message----- From: access-uk@xxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:access-uk@xxxxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of Sandra Henshall Sent: 11 June 2008 18:59 To: access-uk@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: [access-uk] Re: Text to MP3 using Kurzweil. Hi Petrina, To check whether the job has been done, go to the file menu, utilities, and to audio spooler monitor. When you press enter on that, you'll hear either, the current job is such and such a file or, if the job's finished, there are no current jobs. That's the only way I know to find out whether the job has finished. Cheers, Sandra. ** To leave the list, click on the immediately-following link:- ** [mailto:access-uk-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx?subject=unsubscribe] ** If this link doesn't work then send a message to: ** access-uk-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx ** and in the Subject line type ** unsubscribe ** For other list commands such as vacation mode, click on the ** immediately-following link:- ** [mailto:access-uk-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx?subject=faq] ** or send a message, to ** access-uk-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx with the Subject:- faq __________ NOD32 3178 (20080611) Information __________ This message was checked by NOD32 antivirus system. http://www.eset.com ** To leave the list, click on the immediately-following link:- ** [mailto:access-uk-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx?subject=unsubscribe] ** If this link doesn't work then send a message to: ** access-uk-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx ** and in the Subject line type ** unsubscribe ** For other list commands such as vacation mode, click on the ** immediately-following link:- ** [mailto:access-uk-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx?subject=faq] ** or send a message, to ** access-uk-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx with the Subject:- faq
