Hi all -

In addition to everything else: When I had the laptop wired in to my router,
and was able to connect to the internet, the first time I went to a website,
the Windows firewall popped up with a message saying it had blocked
explorer.exe, and if I unblocked it, then broadcasts could be received. I
unblocked it. Is this the right thing to do, or should Explorer.exe stay
blocked by the firewall?

Thanks -

Andy
