Hi Adrien
I do not have to hand the processor speed but will find out and let you know. I am running Supernova 12.5 but really say on my MC10 and Windows Home Xp it is brilliant.

Hi Eleanor

I'm not sure what the sluggishness could be, what screen
reader are you using? How much ram and how big is the
processor? I use my nc10 with home premium and it is
sluggish at times but I have a demo copy of jaws and it is
perfect. Let me know more and perhaps I can help some more.

Regards

Adrien

I will have a look Adrien but I need my question answered
about the sluggishness with the netbook. I would hate to
slow it down altogether.
I've had problems in the past with Play.com as someone from
my building purchased and did not pay and when I attempted
to purchase in the past it never arrived. I checked the
order and phoned them up and they said my building was
blacklisted!!!!

Hi Eleanor

Play.com has the starter to home premium for £57, quite a
bargain, look for the anytime up-grade. I know it is there
as I was going to get it for my sister the other day.

Adrien

Oh well Adrian I have a netbook with the Starter but I am
tld that I can upgrade it to Home Premium but I want to
decide if it is worth the additional investment. It is
sluggish especially when updating but I am wondering if
this
will remain even if I upgrade. Maybe the upgrade will
swamp
it, even though I am told it can be upgraded.

HI Eleanor

With starter you can only use 3 programs at a time,
windows,
speech and perhaps outlook, no more, it is a waste of
space,
go for home premium.

Adrien
