Also, do a custom rather than a upgrade install.

Yeh JAWS 9 will work on it. I would suggest running the install from within
Vista. Your PC will restart a few times. Wait ten or fifteen minutes and
every so often try pressing Windows key + U to get up the ease of access
center adn choose narrator.

Then ALT+Tab to what will sound like a lbank screen. Press ALT+ N which will
move you on to the next screen and then ALT + B to go back to the previous
one. This is because of a bug which means narrator wont read on that first
screen until you go forward and back. You should then be on the rgion
screen. From there just follow the prompts until your up and running.

Then once your logged on just run narrator as you would do in Vista and get
JAWS installed.

Folks,

I've noted a few of you are using Win 7. Will the 32 bit version of JFW v9
and Win Eyes v7 work on this?

If so, is there any documentation/hints that you can give me or point me to
to installing Win 7 and any things I need to think about to get speech even
initially via narrator when installation is complete?

Cheers,
