Hi Ray,

Yes, it is Firefox that they use in the Key To Freedom, and indeed,
Freedombox itself. But you can also use IE with the Key To Freedom, as
System Access supports it.

All the best

Quite right Andrew, Firefox support is one of the major additions to
Window-Eyes 5.5, quite apart from Excel and Powerpoint. One or two details
could be improved on though, such as reading the title of the browser window
when in multiple browser window sessions. That apart, it seems very
impressive.

You can read and hear about it by going to:

www.gwmicro-com.beta

By the way, I am pretty sure its Firefox that's used in the Freedom Box/Key
to Freedom.

Hi,

The indications are that 5.5 beta 1 will support Vista as it is released
now in Beta. This like the OS will probably have issues at first,
however.

Whats more important imho is the acclaimed support in WE 5.5 for
Firefox, which is the first time a screen reader company has given the
user the choice of which Internet browser to use, and this is something
which I think deserves a lot more credit.

Andrew.
