Hi Andy,

Be sure to go into Winamp preferences and uncheck check for updates. I
believe it is in the general section. To get into preferences, control-P.

All the best

Steve

Subject: [access-uk] Winamp Update driving me crazy

Hi all.

I've installed and uninstalled Winamp about five times over the last week
and checked nothing concerning updates, but when I start using Winamp, a
flash logo appears and JAWS announces Winamp Update. I am unable to get
away from this flash logo without having to resort to a complete re-boot.

Can anyone please tell me how I can stop this annoying feature popping up in
the future please.

Any assistance would be very appreciated..

Best wishes.

Andy.
