[access-uk] Re: What can I Do?

Hi Mandy,

Try the following:-

1. Run the JAWS 8 installer. I think you should get the maintenance
window. When it asks you what to do, select Repair, rather than Remove.

2. Let it do its little thing with the repair.

3. Now try again to uninstall it once it is up and running.

Hope it works.

All the best

Subject: [access-uk] What can I Do?

Hi Tristram and anybody else who can help.

I still do not know what to do about Jaws 8.
I can neither remove it nor reinstall, it still shows up as being on the
computer: whatever I try to do with it I still get the message:
"this patch package could not be opened. Verify that the patch package
exists and that you can access it or contact the application vendor to
verify that this is a valid Windows Installer Patch Package"

Am I going to have to go right back to factory settings and reinstall
everything on here?

Mandy.
