i too am alrady involved off and on. i do work for a couple of companies on
occasions. which have including evaluation and recommendations on the
british airways site, cahoot, natwest, united utilities, tesco (very
effective i don't think! smile), and several others. unfortunately i too
have a lot of other thigns going on and cannot commit definately to joining
in on a regular basis.
i'm also of the opinion that the websites designers aren't always to blame,
sometimes it's the actual user who either doesn't know their access software
well enough to navigate a site well, or they just can't be bothered to put
any effort in themselves and would rather blame the websites design for the
problems in getting around it.

we also have to be aware that the accessibility of certain websites veries
depending on what screenreader you use, and even which version of a
screenreader you use. i'm refering only to screenreaders as i have no vision
to use magnification software and the like. for example with the site:
http://www.audiobookcollection.com
getting more details of, and ordering books is impossible with jfw version
4.2, but is fully working and accessible with version 6.
