Billie, these are changing times indeed for Window-Eyes, and there is
a feature on version 7, soon to be in public beta, where all the new
features are described which should now be in the Main Menu archive.
Scripting is, of course, the most prominent new feature and it won't
depend on a proprietory scripting language.

To address your point though on the Pro support and all flavours of
Vista W-E has as standard (No 'Pro' version or surcharge, Doug of GW
doesn't miss the chance to mention all the features you get without
additional charge, and the defered payments scheme too.

No one knows how Window-Eyes scripting will evolve, but there will be
quite a few scripts ready to run on installation. Third party scripts
I'd guess are going to be plentiful too, and no doubt some will be
paid for affairs. Seems these will be able to be written in almost
any programming language you can think of, although VB script will be
seemingly what GW Micro themselves standardize on as the language is
easier to understand for many.

Cheers,

From Ray

Hi, again you'll be fine. You don't get the crap like you do with
Freedom Scientific or related distributors <smiles>. You even get
Remote
Access components free as well! Hope that helps.
