and it's working fine.  Still, I might look at one of Lars's radio/MP3

There might be a chance to save your Stream.  I've just recently heard about
the method for drying out cell phones which get dunked.
Basically, one puts them in a resealable container, could be a plastic bag
or food storage container, and cover it in rice, the real stuff, not the
packages one boils for a few minutes.  Apparently, the rice absorbs all the
moisture from the device.

If your Stream does end up being dead, and you're interested in a more
affordable smaller MP3 player with the built-in FM radio, take a look

I took the back off the Stream and the battery out then laid all on a towel
in the airing cupboard to dry.  Has anyone else successfully dried out their
Stream and got it working properly again after a dunking?

As a boy-scout precaution, if it is defunct, I'd like suggestions for a
replacement.  Isn't there a player that's smaller and has an FM radio built
in?  Wonder what my insurance is like.
