Hi Carol - It was Andy Logue that really started this line of enquiry, as streaming/recording is his main computing interest. It spurred me on to seeing if there was a solution, as it's an area of interest for many of us on this list. I'm very pleased it's been resolved now, and hasn't been lost with Vista! - Andy ----- Original Message ----- From: "Carol Pearson" <carol.pearson29@xxxxxxxxxxxxxx> To: <access-uk@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> Sent: Monday, March 31, 2008 4:47 PM Subject: [access-uk] Re: VISTA and recording with GoldWave | Andy, | | You must be a very happy chappy! <Smiles> | | I am too because eventually I want to move to Vista and would not have done | so if you hadn't pioneered the way and asked for a solution to this one ... | | I too am very pleased for you! | | -- | Carol | carol.pearson29@xxxxxxxxxxxxxx | | On Monday, March 31, 2008 4:30 PM (UK time), Andy Collins at | andy@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx said: | | > James, many thanks for this, I can now confirm to all that have been | > interested in this thread, that from following the directions from | > the link in the below message, I am now able to record streams on my | > Vista laptop, using Goldwave! - | > | > Andy | > ----- Original Message ----- | > From: "James O'Dell" <katherineandjames@xxxxxxxxxxxxxx> | > To: <access-uk@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> | > Sent: Monday, March 31, 2008 12:41 PM | > Subject: [access-uk] Re: VISTA and recording with GoldWave | > | > | >> Hi | >> | >> Try these instructions, same as what I sent the other day but a bit | >> clearer. | >> | >> http://iandixon.spaces.live.com/Blog/cns!36983156CAA83EA9!1725.entry | >> | >> James | >> ----- Original Message ----- | >> From: "Ray's Home" <rays-home@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx> | >> To: <access-uk@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> | >> Sent: Monday, March 31, 2008 12:16 PM | >> Subject: [access-uk] Re: VISTA and recording with GoldWave | >> | >> | >>> Andy, this is interesting indeed as the other Andy is pursuing this | >>> question on the Goldwave list.
