Go to the web page of the company who's driver you are trying to upgrade and see what they say. I've known Microsludge put the same warning out about their own software.

Subject: [access-uk] Updating Drivers

Hello,

Driver Agent told me that a number of the drivers on my PC needed updating. On trying to install the first one, a Microsoft warning message was displayed, saying that this was not recognised by XP and installation could harm my system. Is it safe to ignore this and carry on with the installation? Most of the drivers that need updating are Nvidia ones.

Thanks in advance for any help.

Cheers,

Christopher
