Andy, I've come to this thread rather late so sorry if what I suggest has
already been suggested. Have you got the preview pane showing in OE? If so
that might be causing the lock up with that particular message.

Hi all -
I've still got the problem of not being able to delete messages from my
in-box in OE. Something else has now shown up, and it's this: I have a
message in my in-box that whenever I either try to read it, or even when
jaws just lands on it, something happens that locks up OE, and I get the
"this programme is not responding..." message. I don't know what it is about
this particular email message that is just sat there in my in-box, but I
can't delete it, or any of my messages. Any ideas?
