Andy and Sakib, yes the Advent 4211 runs Jaws nicely indeed. I was actually surprised how smooth Jaws was working on that machine. Now how the machine performs after say a year of use and with other few applications installed I don't know; I could report back in a year time though! But one can always reinstall Windows if needed. Andy, check PC World. This new line of sub notebooks well worth considering in my opinion. Is there any particular reason that you want an ultra mobile PC?

Cheers,
Amro

Hi Andy it's running Windows XP HOme. I don't know if it's classified as an Ultra Mobile PC but it's called a Netbook. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Andy Collins" <andy@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx>

Saqid - is this an ultra mobile PC? What OS is it running under?

Thanks -

Andy

| Hi Andy I have the Advent 4211 10 inch mini laptop. It has XP HOme and 1GB | RAM and 80 GB hard disk space. Battery life will be around 1 hour and 40 | mins roughly. It has 3 USB ports and the fan vents are on the left side. I
| run System Access which is my preferred screen reader and I think Jaws
will
| run nicely on the machine. I will run a demo on the machine later to see
if
| Jaws does run properly. This laptop is for £279.99 from PC World and
Currys.
| I'll let you know how the Jaws experiment went.
