Jackie:

Which make of adapter do you use?

Reason for the question is that it is a route which I will have to tree in
the near future, and time is very precious in my life!

Subject: [access-uk] Re: USB/serial and PB40

Hi David

I've tried using my PowerBraille 80 with a USB to serial adapter, and it
does work on Vista if that's any help. However, I have found that I
need to unload JAWS before I shut down the computer, or else the shut
down isn't great for some odd reason. I've only noticed this when the
PB is connected to my Vista laptop with the USB to serial adapter
connected. I primarily use the PB on my XP desktop at home, and never
have a problem with it just hooked up to serial on there.

I don't know if that's any help mate.

Has anyone used this interface combination?

Or

Is their any reason why it shouldn't work?
