I have one and deleted the software and it is functioning fine for years.
Another small one had a password protection, I did not bother with that either
and all is well.

Could someone please advise me whether or not it is safe to delete the
software that comes on some of these USB pen drives? I have just bought a
couple of SanDisk pens, and both have software on them that I wouldn't
really be interested in using. Can I just get rid?

Kind Regards,
