Hi Roger, My advise on this one is to get an internal PCI USB card with several ports on it. Aria do a Belkin one for example for £20 which has 5 USB ports on it, this is in addition to the sockets on your motherboard. However, the only downfall with these is is if you plug things into this, it can draw too much power from the PSU causing the PSU to shut connections to the card and thus the ports to shut down. In this case I would advise getting a powered hub - that is, something that plugs into the mains socket, to use if this happens. As my broadband modem is in it as well I was told I had to have a mains powered device. I now want to plug another hub into the first hub to give me some more sockets. Will I need this new one to be powered as well or will the first one be sufficient power for both. Many thanks Roger There are more old drunkards than old doctors. ** To leave the list, click on the immediately-following link:- ** [mailto:access-uk-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx?subject=unsubscribe] ** If this link doesn't work then send a message to: ** access-uk-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx ** and in the Subject line type ** unsubscribe ** For other list commands such as vacation mode, click on the ** immediately-following link:- ** [mailto:access-uk-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx?subject=faq] ** or send a message, to ** access-uk-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx with the Subject:- faq ** To leave the list, click on the immediately-following link:- ** [mailto:access-uk-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx?subject=unsubscribe] ** If this link doesn't work then send a message to: ** access-uk-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx ** and in the Subject line type ** unsubscribe ** For other list commands such as vacation mode, click on the ** immediately-following link:- ** [mailto:access-uk-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx?subject=faq] ** or send a message, to ** access-uk-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx with the Subject:- faq
