Hello,

I have a laptop hard drive in a caddy. This is USB poweredd and in a little case. I just got it at the weekend, it is an eighty gig drive.
It really depends upon wha what you want to put on it.
You can get the caddies for around 15 pounds I think.
I bought my hard drive for 30 pounds which was the second hand price, i think that they around seventy or eighty new.

i have a twelve gig here if it is any use to get you started. Contact me off list if you have any more specific questions.
