The U3 manager on your key will install Skype for you.  I use the U3 version
of Skype, it is great.

It is designed for a U3 drive.  I have heard 
there is a version of Skype for U3 but it will be 
a separate application, you couldn't install it 
onto your computer and get them mixed up.
