Hi Carol

If you want to type in say a phone number or code in the middle of a text, just hold down the applicable key or tap for the relevant number of presses until you cycle between the letter and number of that key. For example, if you want number 3, you can either hold down that key for a second or two, or tap it four times until you get past D, E, F to 3.

As for predictive text ... yuck. I just can't stand it, or probably more accurately, can't get the hang of it.

If you want to turn it on using the N95, go into the menu, then Tools, Settings, General, Personalisation, arrow down to Language, then select. Now arrow down to Predictive Text, and change it to on. After that, back out to the main window.

I'm sure there will be a shortcut to do that, but I don't know it.

Have fun.

Jackie

Yeah, whilst we're on that subject ... how do you switch to a series of numbers in the middle of a text message and can anyone explain to me again, please, about predictive text? I want to have another go and see if I can master it this time!

Thanks.
