Wonder Radio isn't as accessible as it once was thanks to a recent
update.

If you want to hear Five Live and be sure to hear your fave football
team playing, you need to listen to 909 or 693 on MediumWave, DAB
Digital Radio or 5Live via Freeview, Freessat, Sky or VirginMedia.

Unless I'm very much mistaken, no app will resolve the issue talked
about here, think it's a bit like watching footy too, where the way
around it is to subscribe to foreign providers, which is not always
legal, as some pubs have found out to their cost. I'm not sure if there
are such outside UK services for radio commentary, but if so, they
wouldn't be providing, say the 5live broadcast, but one of their own.

In short, then, I don't believe there is a way round this, which is no
help of course for people in Jackie's situation, with poor dab reception
