[access-uk] Re: Trying to connect my Touch via wi-fi

Hi Andy

It's on the modem, so you would need someone to tell you what it is, then
perhaps write it down and keep it in a safe place. I've done that, so each
time I need it, I don't have to scrounge for sight! (smile).

Kind Regards,

Marie - please don't feel asking the obvious is patronising, it isn't too me
anyway, sometimes I missed the obvious, and other times I just don't have
the knowledge.

This was actually helpful, but hasn't solved my issue yet.

You might be getting me there however, you see, I thought the key or
password I needed would be the same one I use to connect my mobile or Kindle
to my network [Guess I still don't know the difference between WLAN and
WI-FI!]

It seems from what you say, I actually need some code that is written on the
router? I've got a note of the 'password' for the router, which is different
to the pass key I use to connect my mobile and Kindle to my network

Since your message, I tried with this router password, but still couldn't
get connected. Incidentally, this password for the router is one I created
when I set up my home network a few years ago, so I must have changed
whatever the default one was at the time.

Does this make sense? -

Andy
