[access-uk] Toshiba Media Center.

Hi all,
I have a Toshiba P20 laptop which comes with media centre. Basically, I can
plug in an ariel or cable and bring the telly into it. Up to last night I
really hadn't bothered to do this; I really didn't think Jaws or Windo Eyes
could handle the media centre's interface. Unfortunately Window Eyes beta 2
can't. But Jaws 7.0 certainly does.
I arrow down the list of television stations. C H C H Tv. W N E D tv. C B C
tv, etc. Stopping on any given station, I hit enter. Up pops another screen
and Jaws reads it as I tab through. 9:30AM. CBC Morning. 10:00AM Today's
special. 11:00AM Sesame Street. 12:00PM Midday News, etc. Of course, hitting
enter on the current time brings up that program. Also, the top number row
on my keyboard changes channels. I'm sure there's a volume control on the
keyboard also. In addition to this I can record TV shows onto my hard drive.
Now, I have a toshiba, like I've said, but if you have a Del or an HP which
has multimedia capability, perhaps your screen reader and media interface
isn't as intimidating as you might think.
