Why not try installing Firefox for the mac?

  I recently bought a Mac mini and use it wirelessly to surf the net among 
other things. However, I am not at all impressed with the Safari browser. Of 
course, I use voiceover and find the whole experience of browsing the internet 
extremely tedious to say the least. I find Safari very slow to open pages, and 
sometimes the page will not open at all. I keep getting the message, "Safari 
ready" only to be followed by the message "Safari busy."  Sometimes this just 
goes on and on until I have to just close the programme down. Is any other user 
having such experiences?
