Hi all, as soon as I highlight the message I'm now replying to (see below)
my Outlook crashes. The only way to read it without crashing Outlook is to
convert all received messages to plain text. This is not the first time for
this to happen. However, not all HTML messages causes Outlook to crash. Does
anyone have any idea why this is? Is it happening to anyone else? If I
haven't explained the problem well please get back to me as this really an
issue. I'm using Outlook 2003 with Jaws 9 but it doesn't make any different
if Jaws is loaded or not.

Please help,
Amro

David, in John's message he said the service available in mode two is still
in development by the RNIB. They should have mentioned this in the info, but
we'll forgive them this once I guess.

My box arrived with a broken lid, the battery cover was off and the
batteries rolling around, and the braille telling me about the incorrect
jack plug fittings had errors in it. apart from that, the packaging was
great.

But the penfriend does work and my main use will be labelling for
items in my freezer, and it has already proved to be excellent for that
purpose.

Has anyone managed to get anything out of mode 2 in the mode
settings?

        John,

Thanks for your informative and encouraging post.

I won't comment on all right now (I've probably said far too much
this weekend already) but would just like to agree with you that, really,
the box for the Penfriend probably is a little too large and could have been
smaller and neater!

Thanks for all you're doing and also for not accepting just how
different we all are and how much we want to do our "individual" thing when
it comes to labelling.
