Yes, the pub is very important particularly because Pauline will be here in Kilcreggan and I don't really get a chance these days to have a night out. I've been told that the bar within the Hilton Hotel is rather expensive, so I may well find something next door eh? This will be my third dog. I have had Nell, a Labrador and my current dog, Nairn, is an English Retriever. My new dog is a cross lab retriever so getting the best of the two I hope.

Hi Barry. Yes, I thought that perhaps there would be a tv. I was not sure if perhaps the GDBA had a permanent facility within the hotel. That's why I thought of access to a computer. Don't know what I'll do all week withough access to my computer. Need to be the pub I'm thinking.

Your guide dog trainer will probably be the best person to ask as they have
had more experience of the hotels than those who are being trained. I would
say that, as these hotels are at least 4 star, they will have a TV in the
room and a bar but I'm doubtful as to the computer. Still, what do I know.

Christmas is coming early for me this year as I'm going to get a new guide
dog next Friday. I'm not going to Forfar this time but rather, I've to go
to the Hilton Hotel in Cumbernauld Glasgow for a week's training then two
weeks at home I think. Has anyone ever attended this hotel for training?
If so, I'd love to know what it's like. For example, is there a bar, a tv
in my room or access to a computer. Also, how large are the classes? Will
I be amongst other guide dog owners or will I be on my own? Any info will
