Hi Steve.I'm getting my IPhone 4 hopefully in a few days, so I'll be keen to try it out. I didn't think or expect it would be better than a dedicated device, however I'm not prepared to spend over £100 on a device no matter how good that simply gives me color and light intensity functions.

Hi Ibrahim,I have on the 3GS. If you have an iPhone 3GS, forget it. The camera has no flash, so you are reliant on good light. If you have the iPhone 4 however,it should work a lot better, though I haven't tried it on the 4. It is not however, as good as the Colorino in my view. Talking of color detectors, have you ever tried using the color identifier program you can get for the IPhone? A really interesting article was written about this program by a blind man who describes how his IPhone haschanged his world, so I wonder if you've given it a go if indeed you have anIPhone. Removing and reinserting thebatteries can bring this about, but like I said, it doesn't work for long, and just now, I can't get it to work at all! Is the Colorino still considered one of the best of it's kind, or has it now been superseded? I need something better than the Cobalt one that thought everything was olive Green!
