hi, the site does remind you to put 2 in the basket on such offers. what exactly are you finding difficult about the slot booking? on the new access version of the site, each day is followed by a list of links, labelled properly, for each slot that's available for that day. for example, the below is copied and pasted direct from the site as of about 5 minutes ago: Monday 05 June 2006 12pm-2pm Charge: £4.99 1pm-3pm Charge: £4.99 4pm-6pm Charge: £4.99 8pm-10pm Charge: £4.99 9pm-11pm Charge: £4.99 each time slot and accompanying price is a link on the site, just click on the link to select that slot. Just to add a couple of things for you all, I've come across when shopping with the new site that a lot of my favourite items were missing, ones I would normally purchase each time I shop, for example Coffee etc. Their explanation for this was to say the least fishy! Also, if you find a purchase that says, buy one get one free, you would expect to order 1 and get the other 1 put into your basket automatically, not the case. If you buy one of the products " buy one get one free" or "buy two and get one free" you have to put 2 or 3 in the number of items box and I'm told by customer services this will be taken off the cost later. Does that button update basket from the little basket appear where it can be found? If anyone has any tips on using the "book a delivery slot," I would be very interested, I had a lot of trouble with that one. Regards. Jim. ----- Original Message ----- From: Barry Hill To: access-uk@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Sent: Sunday, June 04, 2006 9:27 AM Subject: [access-uk] Re: Tesco's orders Thanks, Audrey At least I know that I'm not going nuts. My next problem is that if I don't want these items, I will have to delete them from the basket. I think I know how to do this. You need to be aware that after a certain point a button appears that says full basket. When you have finished your choice of shopping, you need to click on that button and update the basket, basically they have a little side basket that contains the items that couldn't fit in the main one, why? I'm not sure, smiles. You will find even if you do this now the items will appear that mysteriously weren't there. Hope this helps. Last week, there were a few veg items missing that I convinced myself that I might not have actually ordered, I think it is referred to as a senior moment. However, I know I definitely ordered some cheese this week but it didn't get put in the order. Still, there doesn't seem to be anything I can do about it as I have not been charged for any items that I have not received. has this happened to anyone else.
