They're fruit is amazing quality and quantity for your poundage as well!
Let's be honest in our little world of political correctness, the Germans
are still known for their high standards.
Ever met a German engineer? Wow!....
Why wouldn't they're supermarket chain reflect this?
Now I'm being off topic...

Actually yeah. People are sniffy about Lidl but they shouldn't be. The
quality of the goods there is really good, it's just that there are less
well known brand names there, there are lots of German branded items and
things that are more for a German market or palate. My girlfriend is half
German and has got me hooked on the place! The vegetables, meats and
cheeses are awesome for instance. And, straight up genuine, I've halved my
monthly grocery bills since shopping there. The stores a are a bit stacked
up and all over the place though but perfectly clean at my local one on
the Edgeware Road.
I recommend the pork and stilton sausages. And their shower Gel at around
40p is just as good as the Imperial Leather stuff I used to buy which was
knocking 2 quid. Smells nice, thik, smooth, creamy, not at all chemically
like most cheap gels you come across.
If you're a ready meals person though, there is less of a range.
Also, Lidl now accept credit cards.
Be great if they wer to go online. I was going to paste in the URL for a
price comparison site but it was a bit meaningless when I read the text
through.
Look after your money. Save it up for the access technology you really
want.
Slightly off topic so apologies.

Have you had a look at their site?
It's hidious!

I put our post code in and got a page can't be found.
I must admit they do do some nice things in there and bargans, especially
on tools and soft drinks.
Another one that doesn't do grocery delivery though.

but the food's cheap, they deliver well when they say they will and the
main site is relatively accessible.
Colin, for those of us living in London, we tend to use tesco because of
the language and other difficulties that often exist when shopping
meaning that assistants often have poor english skills or reading is not
for whatever reason one of their strengths. Given your objection on
ethical grounds, what would you suggest people use as an alternative?
Don't say use local small shops either. Virtually all of them round
here are now small bangladeshi places as that is the main local
community. These shop owners will often be as helpful as possible but
english really is an issue. Wouldn't wonder too near with a guide dog
either as you might cause either shop owners or customers to have a heart
attack!
For these reasons, online shopping is particularly important.

Graham

Damen,
We shouldn't be supporting Tesco! The company that was at fault for
paying their mental health user employees with food vouchers, and the
same organisation that is paying fruit pickers less than 38 pence per day
for a 12 hour day!

Oh dear. Call me behind the times but I've only just gone to see the
new accessible Tesco website. It's very disappointing.
I've given up after taking 10 or 15 minutes to order a tray of baked
potatoes and some tinned chick peas.
It takes far too long now.
Is anyone in touch with Nick Lansley from Tesco, about this? Are any
changes in the pipeline?
Thanks
