Just to throw my two penneth in, I've been using the main Tesco site for months now since my HSBC Visa debit card wasn't accepted on the access site. yes like many sites now its quite complex but I'm perfectly able to use it with Window Eyes 7.2. I can usually get my shopping done within an hour, which I think is a perfectly acceptable time frame and I've got access to all the savings, club card points, etc etc. In-fact to all the facilities that weren't accessible with the access site.


On a philosophical level I'm not in favour of separate access sites because they usually end up being not as good as the main site. But I do appreciate that when the main site is unusable they do have a place. I just don't regard the Tesco site as either inaccessible or unusable. There are bits of it that could be tidied up but I've seen far worse that I've managed to use for shopping and as I've already said I use Tesco every single week.

They say the access site doesn't work but without people like us putting pressure on they'll do nothing about it.

This is apparently who to complain to but he is apparently away for 2 weeks,
so he obviously isn't losing any sleep over it.

Agreed Scott but then at least Tesco are acknowledging a problem which
surely is part way towards trying to rectify it.  Worse when people won't
even acknowledge a problem.
