I may be wrong, but I think Damon was trying to get at exactly what you mean
by 'cut down'. Is it cut down in terms of features or just in terms of
code?

I didn't find the normal site at all easy or straight-forward to use.

Hi Wendy
I'll be surprised if the access site even carries on for much longer as
Tesco say that their normal site is now accessible with a screen reader. It
is, but the access site is much simpler to use.

Hi Barry
I know that Tesco.com have been having trouble with the access site as for some weeks I wasn't able to place an order without ringing them so they could place it via the main site.
Also, do you know whether there are any mooves afoot to improve the access site, e.g. you can't use e-vouchers on it, choose whether you have replacements, it can't store your credit card details and it doesn't tell you when you place an order if particular items are out of stock. All this information is available on the main site and it's really annoying and I feel quite discriminatory.

Hi all
A warning about not checking the order before it's sent. I was in a rush so I trusted that what I had selected would appear in the shopping trolley. However, some items that I didn't select went in there instead. I don't know if it was my own fault or the system but I'll check in future.
