I got one from Amazon which is similar to the Lakeland model but the motor
is 50% more powerful I did have the Lakeland model but the battery would
not hold a charge, so I got my money back.

I have no idea of the make of mine but it was around £37 I think.

Hi Eleanor

I think as long as you remember it isn't a fully-fledged vacuum for heavier
household jobs. I love it because it is so lightweight and easy to push
over the hard floors downstairs, and just tidying up. The tray is very easy
to pull out and empty.

Good to know John Lewis do it or something similar as you should get a
two-year guarantee with it.

Kind Regards,

Jackie Cairns

I found one in John Lewis Jackie, around £49.99 and bought it anyway as the
thing that gets me is crumbs *smile*, especially when I visit my siter's
which is a very large apartment and when I am the only jone there. A brush
is just hopeless. I am glad you say that about it being better than the
carpet sweeper, that sells it for me *smile*.
