Such a conversation about a possible access tech museum is being debated on the
BCAB list today Carol. I really think that such a display or museum is a
winner if people are prepared to give up any access technology they no longer
want, and would like to see being displayed somewhere. I bet each of us has
something we could donate?

Well, George has already given me the best laugh about Louis Wolfson, Jackie!
I didn't think too much either but was persuaded to buy his product once the
tapes were available, supposedly to back up the machine. He didn't tell me how
many times they'd just fail! I lived very near to where he was living at that
time and someone told him about me ... so I got caught!
<Grins>

Then of course there was the Libra which never went for very long without
braille cells giving trouble ... and that poor guy would travel miles to try to
oblige ... I didn't know until very late on that he'd gone bust either!
(The case of the Libra was good though and I still have it! Oh, what's more,
DR DOS on that machine did things DOS never did!)

Mike's just shouting Versabraille at me. He was a great fan!

Hey, anyone want to make money by collecting these things and making a museum
available for people to visit! <Grins>

Now I'd best stop my input to this thread or I just dare not tell you what I
think George might do! ...
