I still use a tap 1. I find the roller ones too heavy on my wrist for some reason. Mind you, I've never tried the ones where the roller moves forward as well as side to side.

Hi Tony Although it has changed from a solid one that needed to be tapped to a collapsible one that rolls, I think the long cane is essentially the same piece of kit, although I'm not sure if it is really technology.
