Well Sunil, I don't upgrade my phone yearly, but I've already explained my
impoverished position.

Just wonder though if what you are reporting is one of the possible problems
for blind people over other users. Its probable some dirt has got to the
contacts of your phone. That might not happen so readily if you could use a
protective case. Then, however, feeling the buttons for dialling and operating
the phone, and even more for texting, would probably be near impossible.

Wonder if anyone has come across a Clingfilm thin covering to help alleviate
this problem?
Ray

I change my phone once a year when I'm offered a free upgrade from
Orange. Most people do don't they? I normally have to upgrade because
the buttons on the number pad stop working properly and on the 6600
which I just upgraded from, the call button only functioned when I
pressed it really really hard - to the extent that it hurt my finger too
much.

All good points Steve.

How often are we going to change our phones? Not that often I think.

Cheers,

Mike
