Hi Peter,

Bluetooth is not exactly rocket science, and so a man of
your calibre, it should be a walk in the part.

As for telephones being supplied with connecting cables, in
my 10 years of experience, they have always been a
chargeable extra on top of the cost of the phone itself, but
then again, I've only ever had Nokia phones.

George.

Hi Andrew,
Yes, I'm following the thread. I have no idea what blue
tooth is. though I suspect its some kind of wireless
connection. No doubt I'll be filled in on what blue tooth is
as the day goes by. Hope so anyway. Sandra has suggested
that I should have gotten a connection with the phone I
purchased. When I purchased the phone I did ask the girl if
a cord came with it. There seemed not to be one, but she
could sell one to me. Strange now if Sandra is right and a
cord should have been provided with the phone. It certainly
would save messing around with blue tooth. I'm a little
apprehensive about getting started on new technology items
such as blue tooth, so much reading to do, and much of it
hard to grasp. But no doubt in a year or so I'll wonder why
I was so worried about it.

Peter

Hi Peter.

I know nothing of mobile phone technology, but I note that a
list member advised you to purchase blue-tooth and suggested
a company called Maplins.
I visit Maplins regularly in Glasgow. It's in St Enoch's
Square, right beside Argyll Street Sub station. Their
telephone number Peter is 0141 248
572

Andy
