Problem now solved, many thanks to Steve and Sunil for helping. Reformatting the phone did it as Steve suggested. If you need details on this, get back to me, but it sounds like you have some software corruption, and putting old versions back on will solve nothing in the long term. My phone is Nokia E65. I'm trying to upgrade from Talks version 3.x to version 3.52. The time and date on the phone are set correctly. The Software Installation is set to All. When I tried to upgrade in the first attempt, Talks was turned off as recommended. Now when I started the upgrade, Eloquence was installed ok, but Talks couldn't be installed and I got a message saying that the installation of Talks was unable to complete. Trying to solve the problem I went into the App Manager and removed everything that is related to Talks and Eloquence from the phone. As well, I re-downloaded Talks 3.52 from Steve's website just in case. And yeah you've guessed it, the same problem persists. So, two things please. Anyone knows where I can get the older version of Talks from to try and put it back on my phone? And, does anyone know where I'm going wrong with this new Talks version installation? Any help is very much appreciated as I'm left with no speech on my phone. If you are updating from a version earlier than 3, then you must turn it off and then uninstall it in application manager. This requires sighted assistance. If you are updating from 3.x to 3.52, then you should just be able to install, even with Talks turned on. Eloquence installs ok but Talks is refusing to install. After agreeing to all the steps, Talks start installing but at the end I get a message saying "unable to install". I doubt it's a memory issue as I'm installing to my 2gb card. So, any help please? I'm left without speech on my phone!
