Thanks Steve but how much is it to upgrade from the Vodafone version?

Hi Eleanor,

Free updates until now means that we have so far been provided with free
updates if we have Talks premium, but this is only for Version 3 customers
and above. It has not stopped so far.

Braille output relies on a Braille Display, such as the Humanware Braille
Connect, or the EuroBraille Esys 12 or 40.

Finally, if you update to Talks Premium, you can get Zooms as well for the
50 pounds.

Does this make sense?

All the best

Steve

Hi Chris
Thank you for this. I am sorry to be stupid but I am having problems with
points 1, 3 and 5. In relation to point 1, you say free updates until now.
Do you mean it has now stopped? Can you explain more points 3 and 5 by
example? My Vodafone says Output is Braille. Are we talking about that
very expensive Braille mobile phone or where might we be outputting the
Braille? I am a Braillist? Finally you say about Zoomtext free with new
liscence, then are we talking here about forgetting the Vodafone Talks and
going for the whole thing as in £150.00?

That's wrong. You can upgrade the Vodafone version of Talks, Talks
Standard, to the full version, Talks Premium, from your local Talks dealer

or by going to www.talknav.net. Benefits includes:
1. Up to now, free updates.
2. The ability to change the pronunciation of words.
3. The ability to change graphics to meaningful labels.
4. Braille support.
5. The ability to view what objects are displayed on the screen from
within the current application.
6. Free Zooms magnification if you buy a new licence.
Hope this helps.

Hi
I would like to know what additional advantage it is to have the complete
version of Talks which I think costs £150.00 in comparison to the Talks
put on by Vodafone as part of their 'Customer Care'. I understand it is
not possible to upgrade the Vodafone Talks to a full version.
