Hi folks Very interested to follow the threads on Window-eyes over the last few months. It is good to see Jaws getting a real run for its money and in many instances overtaken. A more than effective competitor may make FS pull up their boot straps and adopt a more progressive policy towards future development of Jaws. The question that I pose in regards to Jaws 8 is that has this simply been rush released without the necessary level of testing and consultation? I've a demo copy and boy is it faulty! I'm also trying Window-eyes demo and am interested to see the differences. However, I don't at present see the need to panic and change over from one to the other. I'm a great believer in the circle effect in what comes around goes around so to speak. What I do hope is that what gwMicro/Window-eyes is doing at the moment makes FS re-visit its pricing policy and realise that they're turning away customers. I also hope that future Jaws development takes back the ground and hence there is some good healthy competition between the two - maybe this may help in pricing but lets watch this space. Just for fairness, Window-eyes is also available from the Force ten company. Dollars - 3520.00?
