Sunil, while pressing the button at the bottom, push your thumb against the raised bit near the top of the phone which surrounds the camera lens. Push towards the top of the phone and the back cover should pop up at the top. You can then just lift it off. -----Original Message----- From: access-uk@xxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:access-uk@xxxxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of Sunil Sent: 02 August 2005 15:05 To: access-uk@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: [access-uk] Taking the back off a 6630 Whats the secret of taking the back of one of these phones? I pressed the button thing at the bottom of the back of the phone but I gave up trying to take it off when I busted my finger nail and really hurt my thumb. When pressing down are you supposed to slide or prize the bit of plastic away? From what I can figure out sliding isnt the way to go because the bit of plastic seems to fit around the camera so is the best way to get your nail underneath and pull it clean off? - the plastic not your nail!...ta muchly ** To leave the list, click on the immediately-following link:- ** [mailto:access-uk-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx?subject=unsubscribe] ** If this link doesn't work then send a message to: ** access-uk-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx ** and in the Subject line type ** unsubscribe ** For other list commands such as vacation mode, click on the ** immediately-following link:- ** [mailto:access-uk-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx?subject=faq] ** or send a message, to ** access-uk-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx with the Subject:- faq http://www.bbc.co.uk/ This e-mail (and any attachments) is confidential and may contain personal views which are not the views of the BBC unless specifically stated.
