Hi Ibrahim

What is the Dualit? (smiles). It's a DAB radio that Dualit made to
complement kitchen appliances in black, chrome/silver, or cream. It has
one of the largest displays on a DAB radio apparently. There are five
presets for DAB, and five for FM. It's a mono DAB radio. It has no
frills like SD, USB or whatever connectivity. There is an auxiliary
socket, and you can press one button that cycles through FM, Auxiliary,
and DAB. The latter is its default when turned on for the first time.
It has a metal casing, making the sound really brilliant in my view.
The rechargeable battery lasts about three hours on a good day, but you
are best sticking to mains if possible. There is a kitchen timer on
this radio which, for me, is completely inaccessible. Nevertheless, it
is there, and someone with useful vision may find it handy.

I suppose some might say that it is expensive for a DAB/FM radio without
bells and whistles, but I bought it for the sound and build quality, and
didn't want any of the other stuff that I wouldn't be able to see to use
in any case. It's a belter!! Go see!!

Hi Jackie.

I might be getting one of these pure moods, I'm looking for a DAB radio
and I've heard nothing but encouraging remarks about it on list. Sorry
if I seem like I'm missing something, but what is the Dulit?

All the best, Ibrahim.
