Wendy, unless I'm hallucinating - which I probably am these days - I'm sure I saw something along those lines on the website where I bought my Colorino. Go to 
www.ic-online.co.uk
and go to the talking products section. I'm positive I saw something about it once.

Does anyone know if there are any talking postal scales available? Now that 
we can pay online via Paypal for parcels, it would be handy to have scales
