Hi Sharon, Unfortunately, you can't synchronise the Iriver H320 or H340 with Windows Media Player, unless you have the US Firmware, as in the UK firmware, this functionality has been disabled by Iriver. So you can't transfer protected music. I wrote to Iriver about this, and got no reply. Iriver are hopeless when it came to technical support. I am running windows xp, service pack 2, and the tracks I am trying to transfer are mp3 and wma. I will give holding down the play a go, and see what happens then. What I can't understand is that the tracks are showing on the F drive, as that is how the computer sees it, but when I disconnect from the computer there is nothing on the Iriver, well according to my sighted daughter anyway. I'll keep you posted, and thanks again. But, although I have been told on this list that this is impossible, I can only connect the Iriver if I have Ipodder running and a podcast highlighted. This might be worth thinking about if you have a podcatcher installed. Also, an undocumented feature of the Iriver is that you have to press the Play button to make it connect to the PC. Are you running Windows XP. I could not connect my Iriver until I upgraded from windows 98. Lastly, apologies if you think I am asking a patronising question, but are the tracks to be transferred in the correct format. Iriver reads MP3 and WAV files, but I am not sure what else, but I know it does not read M4A files.
